The Adelaide International Kite Festival is a free community event that is held annually at Semaphore Beach in South Australia.

Come along to Semaphore beach over the Easter long weekend in 2017 and watch the sky fill with colour, twists and twirls, kites of all shapes and size - when the Adelaide International Kite Festival returns!
The 2017 Festival will feature international guest kite flyers from New Zealand and Malaysia! As always, we will have kite flyers from interstate and locally in South Australia flying too.
As in 2015 and 2016, the Festival Marketplace will return with stallholders selling their wares and running activities for all to be involved in. This area is on the foreshore and open 11am - 5pm daily so be sure to check it out.
The AIKF is run by the Adelaide Kite Flyers Association in conjunction with K Marie Events, and was established in 1997.
