27/09/2012 - Australian HPV Super Series - Pedal Prix

Mason Gray Strange recently sponsored Craigburn Primary School (Entry 111)
in the third and final Round of the UniSA Australian HPV Super Series.
The final round which is a 24-hour endurance race was held at Sturt Reserve,
Murray Bridge on the 14th - 16th September 2012. It is the biggest single HPV
race in the world with more than 220 teams from around Australia. Over 3,000
competitors take part and Sturt Reserve turns into a mini city over the weekend
with a permanent population in excess of 7,000 people. The Australian HPV
Super Series is an annual championship held in South Australia featuring HPV's
 (human powered vehicles).

Congratulations to all the students involved in the Murray Bridge 24 hour race.
Craigburn Primary School achieved their best ever results in their brief history at this event.
They had over 70 entrants in their category in which they achieved a 3rd and a 10th place.
They were the only school in the category to finish with 2 cars in the
top 10 positions which was a fantastic achievement.
